Add a knocker
Having an unusual knocker on your front door is an instant way to get your visitors talking about your home. Common designs include lions, the green man and gargoyles, but you will be able to find a wide range of intriguing styles, so something is bound to suit your personality. Upgrade your door handle
Just like knockers, door handles are easy to replace and a simple way to inject individuality into your front door. This is just a cosmetic change – it doesn’t mean you have to alter the locking system. If you wanted to highlight the contemporary nature of your home, you could opt for a sleek, chrome handle; if your taste is more traditional, then you may go for a brass door knob. If you opt for glass, you can choose how many panels you want, and how big these should be. Getting frosted glass is a popular option for privacy purposes, and this can be customised with a colourful pattern or elaborate picture.
