Replacement Woodgrain UPVC Windows in a Family Home
New windows provide a wealth of benefits to any property, but some homeowners worry it will be a challenge to match designs to the existing features of their house. That’s the task we faced when working at this home in Mitcham in September.
The Project – Finding the Ideal New Windows
Our customer had very old windows at the front of their home, asking Hamiltons to replace them with new ones. She hoped to find products which matched her existing porch and front door, so we talked through her options and found the perfect style.
Many homeowners love the look of wooden windows but understand the upkeep is something which can take a lot of time and effort. That’s why uPVC windows with a woodgrain finish are the perfect compromise. Our homeowner chose this option, selecting a finish that would emulate the look of real wood without the burden of having to repaint or maintain them regularly.
The Results – Beautiful Rosewood UPVC Windows
As you can see from the images, our installers replaced the old windows at the front of the home with gorgeous rosewood uPVC windows. While dual colour options are often available for the frame, our homeowner chose the rosewood shade for both inside and out. The overall look was completed with matching gold furniture.
The new windows are a perfect match for the front door and porch windows, achieving a beautiful and updated look. The windows provided functionality to the home too, with fire escape hinges fitted to the bedroom windows.
