Replacement of All Windows in a Dulwich Home

There’s no greater compliment than when a customer recommends our services to family and friends. Having replaced windows and the front door at their daughter’s home, our next client asked us for help with an installation at their Dulwich property in South London. The project took place back in March.

The Project – New Windows Throughout

The customers were so impressed with their daughter’s new windows that they decided to re-glaze their whole house. However, they wanted to keep the original timber look at the front without having the huge expense of real hardwood windows.

This is something many homeowners want when updating the look of their property, hoping to strike the right balance between maintaining traditional features while adding function to their home. UPVC frames offer an authentic appearance, but won’t need repainting or maintaining as many wooden windows do. This customer was delighted with our range, selecting a style which suited their home perfectly.

The Results – A First Class Installation

Our homeowners chose special flush casement ‘timber look’ windows which have all the original features but provide complete thermal insulation and soundproofing. For the back of the house, they selected uPVC Kömmerling windows with the Ovolo profile, as well as a uPVC door to the rear bedroom. This offered additional security and a very smart finish.

To enhance the look even further, our customers opted for chrome furniture on all products.

We provided scaffolding to the top floor bedroom and rear top floor kitchen, successfully completing the work in the timeframe stated. This was a first class installation, and the scaffold was removed within a couple of days of completion. As a result of our excellent work, we have now been recommended to other members of the family!
